January 2017 – Chante Goodwin, President/CEO, proudly announces the awarding of a contract by a major religious organization.  YWITS will perform a IT spending assessment, implement a new server, network devices, Internet, VOIP system and Office 365 cloud services.

April 2016 – Chante Goodwin, President/CEO, proudly announces the awarding of a contract by a non-profit organization.  YWITS will upgrade its infrastructure from Server 2003 physical servers to VMware virtual environment, and migrate from on premise Exchange to Office 365.


March 2016 – Your Way IT Solutions (YWITS) experienced exemplary growth in the month of March.  Chante Goodwin, President/CEO, proudly announces the awarding of the following IT support contracts to YWITS:

  • Contract awarded by an existing client that provides services to the federal government.  YWITS will design, install and configure a cyber security lab utilizing virtualization technologies.
  • Contract awarded by a religious organization.  YWITS will conduct an in-depth IT Assessment, provide recommendations for improvement and align this organization’s business goals/objectives to technology.
  • Contract awarded by an accounting firm.  YWITS will migrate Internet, Phone and IT services to new providers.  Additionally, YWITS will implement Office 365 for email, file sharing, online collaborations and instant messaging.
  • Contract awarded by a non-profit organization.  YWITS will provide office relocation assistance.
2015

December 2015 – Chante Goodwin, President/CEO of YWITS, proudly announces that the company has been awarded a contract to become the IT provider for a local nonprofit association.  This contract includes on-going IT Support, infrastructure improvements, and office relocation assistance.


August 2015 – This month, Your Way IT Solutions (YWITS), LLC celebrates its tenth year!  Ms. Chante Goodwin, President and CEO of YWITS, stated, “We are excited and proud to have achieved this milestone!  And, we are so appreciative that our diverse set of clients across the Washington metropolitan area continue to put their faith in us.”

YWITS is an outgrowth of NFTE, The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship.  NFTE’s mission is “to provide programs that inspire young people from low-income communities to stay in school, to recognize business opportunities, and to plan for successful futures.”

It was in NFTE’s entrepreneurship class that Ms. Goodwin learned valuable business skills, including how to write and present a business plan.  As a result, she created what has now evolved into as Your Way IT Solutions.

“We at YWITS look forward to continuing to serve our clients with the utmost professionalism, and to providing exceptional customer satisfaction. We are dedicated to being a more effective IT solution for our clients, thereby maximizing their IT results.

July 2015 – Chante Goodwin, President/CEO of YWITS, recently was interviewed by news reporter Bruce Johnson of television station WUSA9.  Ms. Goodwin commented on the launch of the 2015 D.C. Mayor’s Summer Jobs Program.  Created by deceased Mayor Marion S. Barry, the program just this year has been expanded to include young adults up to the age of 24 courtesy of the current mayor, Muriel E. Bowser.

Ms. Goodwin commented on the value and criticalness of the D.C. Mayor’s Summer Jobs Program, and how it can introduce young people to the work force.  Read More!


April 2015 –  Chante Goodwin, President/CEO of YWITS, attended NFTE’s (the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship) 2015 “Dare to Dream” Gala at the Ronald Reagan Center in Washington, D.C., on April 29.  The Gala celebrates the power of entrepreneurship education and pays tribute to some of our region’s most successful entrepreneurs.  And, it is the largest and most-anticipated networking event that supports youth entrepreneurship.  Influential business, government, education and philanthropic leaders attended this year’s event.

The mission of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship is “to provide programs that inspire young people from low-income communities to stay in school, to recognize business opportunities, and to plan for successful futures.”  A NFTE alumnus, Ms. Goodwin is a member of its board of directors.


March 2015 –  Chante Goodwin, President/CEO of YWITS, was a featured speaker for NFTE’s (the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship) recent dinner celebration honoring the organization’s 2015 “Dare to Dream” Gala Honorees.  The Gala, to be held on April 29, is Washington, D.C.’s largest and most-anticipated networking event that supports youth entrepreneurship.  The mission of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship is “to provide programs that inspire young people from low-income communities to stay in school, to recognize business opportunities, and to plan for successful futures.”  A NFTE alumnus, Ms. Goodwin is a member of its board of directors.

Also in March, Ms. Goodwin visited her alma mater, Maryland’s Suitland High School, to judge an elevator pitch competition for one of NFTE’s entrepreneurship classes.  An elevator pitch competition recognizes and celebrates the creativity, discipline and skills to concisely and convincingly sell a new idea.  What made this competition even more exciting was that each student had only 1-2 minutes to make his/her pitch.


February 2015 – On February 25-26, Opportunity Nation hosted the National Opportunity Summit in D.C.  Chante Goodwin, President/CEO of YWITS, was a featured speaker.  The Summit is the first national opportunity event focused on the critically important issues of youth employment, skills training and meaningful cross-sector education and career pathways at both state and federal levels.  Summit attendees included 1,000 business, nonprofit, education and government leaders and hundreds of young adults from across the country.  For the last three years, Opportunity Nation and its partners have been growing a movement to restore opportunity in America.  The Summit’s goal was to help respond to the national emergency of stubbornly high youth unemployment.  The Summit highlighted and built on successful public and private sector investments and initiatives in youth employment.

To that end, Ms. Goodwin presented in the breakout session entitled, “The Power of Entrepreneurship on Youth Employment.”  She discussed  the successes of NFTE (the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship), whose mission is “to provide programs that inspire young people from low-income communities to stay in school, to recognize business opportunities and to plan for successful futures.”  An alumnus of NFTE, Ms. Goodwin is a member of its board of directors.
